Africa – 2025 – Law Ninjas, the globally celebrated legal community, in collaboration with legal careers powerhouse The GRM Group, is proud to present Ninja Night: Leaders in Law Africa – an exclusive series of elegant cocktail evenings uniting Africa’s top legal professionals across four iconic cities: Johannesburg (June 12), Nairobi (July 10), Lagos (August 14), and Casablanca (September 11).

This four-city continental tour has created a groundbreaking platform for in-house counsel, legal thought leaders, and industry innovators to connect, learn, and grow together. Each event, hosted in a distinguished venue within the host city, offers a unique setting for high-impact conversations, professional networking, and thought-provoking insights tailored to the future of law in Africa.

Johannesburg: A Royal Beginning

Held at the historic Rand Club, Johannesburg’s edition welcomed 120 of South Africa’s most respected General Counsels and Chief Legal Officers. With a setting long frequented by presidents, kings, and captains of industry, the evening featured world-class speakers from institutions like Mercedes-Benz, Twitter, Citi, Harvard Law School, and more. All tickets were sold out weeks in advance.

Nairobi: Elevating East Africa’s Legal Future

On July 10, the Leaders in Law Evening arrived in Nairobi, hosted at the scenic Fifteen Rooftop atop The Curve by the Park. Overlooking the city skyline and Nairobi National Park, the event attracted Kenya’s leading in-house counsel, with 75% of spaces secured well ahead of time. With compelling discussions led by speakers from the African Development Bank, Oxford University, TikTok, and others, the Nairobi edition underscored the region’s legal sophistication and growth potential.

Lagos: Legal Brilliance in Nigeria’s Business Capital

The Lagos edition on August 14 was staged at the elegant RSVP Restaurant, in the heart of Nigeria’s commercial hub. With 55% of in-house counsel spaces filled early, the event saw participation from leading professionals and speakers representing Google, PwC, KPMG, and Baker McKenzie, among others. The Lagos evening spotlighted the vitality and innovation within West Africa’s legal space, alongside strategic insights into the future of legal practice in Nigeria.

Casablanca: A Grand Finale in North Africa

The series concludes in Casablanca on September 11, at the iconic Le Cabestan, renowned for its panoramic ocean views and sophisticated ambiance. With over half of the limited spaces already reserved, this final leg promises a powerful finish to the continental journey. Attendees will engage with distinguished speakers from global leaders such as Microsoft, Umbiie, Standard Bank, LnP, and others – sharing actionable insights within one of Africa’s most globally connected legal regions.
